For organizers of  3^rd International Watercolor Biennial "Baltic Bridges"  - a hot summer.

86 Lithuanian and foreign authors had sent their artworks for Biennial selection committee. Applications for participation in the 3^rd International Watercolor Biennial "Baltic Bridges"  were obtained from Vilnius and Kaunas, Siauliai, Alytus, Druskininkai, Klaipeda and artists from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Iceland, Finland and the Aland Islands, as well as from Polish, Norwegian, Russian, Slovak, Swedish and German watercolorists.

The selection committee has selected works of 60 authors, and we hope to show all them in the main „Baltic Bridges” exhibition in the gallery „Arka“ from 13 August till 5 September.

Also two solo exhibitions will be presented during the Biennial: personal exhibition of Vidmantas Zareka - a grand prix winner of 2008 "Baltic Bridges" (in the gallery of Lithuanian Artists' Union (LDS), Vokieciu Street 2), and jubilee personal exhibition of Eugenijus Nalevaika (in another gallery of LDS, Pamenkalnio Street 1 / 13).

One more satellite exhibition of Biennial will be displayed in the exhibition hall LDS, Vokieciu Street g. 4 / 2 (third floor). Here you will find works of artistic group or watercolor painters "Aqua 12".

All events of the Biennial will be held in Vilnius. Opening ceremonies of exhibition are planned on August 13 and 14. Keep checking the information.

NOTE TO AUTHORS of SELECTED ARTWORKS!

Please, send your artworks to the organizers of exhibition in time.
We are looking forward to receive your artworks as well as participants fee till 20 of July.

• All the applicants will be informed by e-mail about the results of jury work till June 20, 2010.
• Selected artworks will have to be sent by post (address above) till July 20, 2010. Sending expenses will be paid by authors.
• After exhibition artworks will be sent back to authors together with a catalogue for every participant. Sending expenses will be paid by Lithuanian Artists Association.
• Participation fee for selected artists is 30,-Euro per person (not per artwork).
